Globe Theatre Announces Jaime Boldt as Executive Director

The Globe Theatre has selected Jaime Boldt as Executive Director, following an international executive search process led by Arts Consulting Group Canada (ACG). She will begin her tenure on February 1, 2019.

Ms. Boldt most recently served as Acting CEO of the John Howard Society of Saskatchewan (JHSS). In this role, she implemented the annual strategic plan, developed sustainable programming, and oversaw the finances and operations of four provincial branches in Regina, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert. In addition to working on various national initiatives, she also maintained effective and collaborative partnerships with various municipal, provincial, and federal stakeholders. Prior to serving as Acting CEO, Ms. Boldt was the Branch Executive Director and Provincial Director of Strategic & Policy Development for JHSS. For eight years, Ms. Boldt was the Business Owner and Principal Consultant of From Nuts to Boldt Consulting, serving a vast clientele, including Street Culture Project Inc., Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, Prairie Spirit Connection, North Central Community Association, Government of Saskatchewan (Ministry of Correction & Public Safety), and Regina Immigrant Women Society.

A well-respected, engaged community member and active volunteer, Ms. Boldt currently serves on various committees and boards, including the Access Committee, Provincial Restorative Justice Network Committee, and Union Management Committee. Ms. Boldt holds a bachelor’s degree in human justice and a master’s degree in public administration, public policy from University of Regina.

In making the announcement, Board Chair Kerry Lumbard said, “On behalf of the Globe Theatre’s Board of Directors I am pleased to welcome Jaime as Executive Director. Jaime’s experience in business operations and strategy will make her a great addition to our team.” Artistic Director Ruth Smillie said, “Jaime Boldt is an exceptional leader with a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector. I’m delighted that Jaime is joining the Globe Theatre team and am looking forward to working in partnership with her”.
