Anna Kolesova (she/her/hers) is a marketing, communications, and audience development specialist, equipped with numerous years of experience within the arts and culture sector. Her expertise spans strategic research, community engagement, persuasive writing, and content management.  

Throughout her career, Anna has held positions in various cultural organizations, predominantly focusing on nonprofits specializing in the visual arts.  Prior to her current role at ACG, Anna served as Adult Learning Fellow at the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston. During her tenure, she developed public programs that strategically aligned with the museum's priorities and goals. She also conducted comprehensive research to identify and implement impactful initiatives for community engagement. Anna’s professional affiliations extend to institutions such as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston Center for the Arts, and Matter & Light Fine Art Gallery, where she has contributed significantly in marketing and communications, public programs, education, audience development, and research capacities. 

An advocate for social justice, Anna is devoted to promoting equity and inclusivity in cultural spaces. She steadfastly embraces the principles of anti-racism and anti-ableism, making a conscious effort to infuse these values into all facets of her work. Outside of her professional engagements, Anna volunteers as an Events and Outreach committee member at The History Project, New England's LGBTQ+ community archive, where she contributes to the planning of queer advocacy events and develops strategies for audience engagement. Anna is a fluent speaker of Russian, and she has knowledge of Ukrainian, German, and American Sign Language.  She holds a bachelor of arts in journalism with a minor in art criticism from Moscow State University and a master of arts in art history from Boston University.
