Bardavon Presents named Bryan Zellmer as the new Executive Director, and Arts Consulting Group (ACG) extends its congratulations on his leadership appointment. He began his tenure on December 2, 2024.
The Bardavon 1869 Opera House, Inc. (“Bardavon”) owns and operates the 944-seat historic theater in Poughkeepsie, the oldest continuously operating theater in the state listed on the National Register of Historic Places; and the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC), Kingston’s premier performing arts venue featuring the largest proscenium theater between Manhattan and Albany with a 1510-seat capacity.
Bryan Zellmer has spent 20 years as a non-profit manager and presenter at historic venues in Pennsylvania, Colorado, New Jersey, and New York. Recently, Zellmer completed 7 years as Director of KU Presents at the historic Schaeffer Auditorium on the campus of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. Prior to KU Presents, he managed the Rialto Theater in Loveland, Colorado, and was the Director of Cultural Affairs for Sussex County Community College in Newton, New Jersey. He grew up in Orange County, New York, and received his MBA at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
