The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory Appoints Andrew Darcey as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications

The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory (The Hanover) has named Andrew Darcey as the new Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, and Arts Consulting Group (ACG) extends its congratulations on his leadership appointment. He began his tenure on October 20, 2025.

The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory is comprised of four key components — the Main Stage, the Conservatory, The Hanover Theatre Repertory, and the Francis R. Carroll Plaza. Since the renovation and restoration in 2008, the Hanover Theatre & Conservatory serves as a center of culture, education, and community, and it symbolizes the rebirth of a city — Worcester, Massachusetts.

Andrew Darcey joins The Hanover following a decade with The John Gore Organization, where he served as the Director of Marketing for Broadway in Boston. With nearly 20 years of experience in live entertainment marketing, Andrew strives to find the right audience for each particular artist and project he works on. Having overseen record season and single ticket campaigns, he sees the balance between traditional advertising and public relations, new digital platforms and opportunities, and community-based program engagement as the key to his success. In addition to various organizations in the Greater Boston area, Andrew has worked in both Los Angeles and New York, most notably at Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles where he oversaw all advertising initiatives for the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, and Kirk Douglas Theatre. He has also served as co-chair of The Broadway League's Road Marketing Committee, and guest lectured at Boston University, Brandeis University, and Babson College. He currently lives in Marlborough with his husband, son, cat, and dog, where he also coaches town soccer.

"I am thrilled to be joining the team at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory. I've been a first-hand witness to their growth over the past 17 years with the development of a Broadway series, opening an education conservatory, debuting THT Rep, and now adding a dance series," Darcey Said. "The breadth of programming inviting audiences to experience the magic of live entertainment is inspiring, and I hope to help in continuing to give each audience member a spark of joy as they come to The Hanover. In a moment when Worcester is seeing such tremendous growth, The Hanover is extremely well-positioned for even greater success and I could not be more excited to be a part of this next evolution."
