Ballet Hispánico has named Devan Jairam as the new Director of Finance and Administration, and Arts Consulting Group (ACG) extends its congratulations on his leadership appointment. He began his tenure on April 28, 2025.

Devan joins Ballet Hispánico as Director of Finance and Administration after serving as the Director of Finance at The Apollo Theater Foundation in Harlem, NY for the last three years. Prior to his time at The Apollo, he spent fourteen years in a multitude of roles at the local UWS institution, Children’s Museum of Manhattan. He began as Manager of Retail Operations and was ultimately promoted to Director of Finance and Administration. Throughout his career he has worked cross departmentally to refine and implement a range of systems including human resources, admissions, accounting and other web-based solutions.
Born and raised in Queens and a graduate of CUNY Hunter and Queensborough CC, he currently resides in Westchester, NY. In his spare time, he serves as Board Treasurer of the newly formed non-profit Whistling Finch Labs. He is also passionate about cooking, woodworking and is thrilled to be joining the Ballet Hispánico team!
