Long Wharf Theatre has selected Tim Yergeau as Director of Marketing & Communications, following an executive search process led by Arts Consulting Group (ACG). He began his tenure on August 1, 2022.
Tim Yergeau brings 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, and community engagement to the Tony Award-winning Long Wharf Theatre. Most recently, Yergeau held positions as Director, Strategic Communications, and Brand & Communications Officer at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. During his time there, Yergeau successfully led the communications and media team through a number of legislative advocacy campaigns, including the passage of the Reproductive Privacy Act in Rhode Island and a $2+ million investment in reproductive health in Connecticut. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Yergeau helped increase community access to health care assistance by launching a highly impactful Telehealth service line, which is recognized as one of the most vital care programs across all Planned Parenthood affiliates.
Prior to that, Yergeau was a Director of Advancement for the New Haven Free Public Library Foundation, where he rebuilt the fundraising and communications programs, increasing annual capital campaign by 14%. He also previously served the Greater Hartford Arts Council for over 4 years in different capacities, including Assistant Director of Marketing and Director of Communications & Donor Relations. Yergeau holds a bachelor of science degree in communication, graduating magna cum laude from Boston University.
In making the announcement, Long Wharf Theatre’s Managing Director Kat Ingui said, “We are overjoyed that Tim is joining the Long Wharf Theatre team to lead our organizational marketing and communication strategy.
