The Milwaukee Repertory Theater has selected Matt Leibham as Chief Financial Officer, following an executive search process led by Arts Consulting Group (ACG). He began his tenure on July 12, 2021.
A senior financial, operations, and development leader with more than 18 years of experience, Mr. Leibham has most recently spent time at Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., which produces numerous events, including Summerfest, an 11-day music festival that typically draws 750,000 to 850,000 guests. While there, he served in various leadership roles, including Controller, Director of Financial Operations, and Director of New Revenue Development. Mr. Leibham played an integral role in numerous business initiatives to help the organization achieve continued financial stability and long-term success.
In addition to his employment with Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., Mr. Leibham previously held roles with Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and BDO Seidman, LLP. His previous experience has provided him with strong business acumen and communication skills, which he uses to develop new business relationships. Mr. Leibham holds a bachelor of business and a master of business, both in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
