Spruce Peak Arts Names Ekaterina Luchanskaya as Director of Development

 

Katya Luchanskaya Spruce Peak Arts Director of Development

Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center has selected Ekaterina “Katya” Luchanskaya as Director of Development, following an executive search process led by Arts Consulting Group (ACG). She began her tenure on April 30, 2022.

Luchanskaya is an arts nonprofit professional with over 14 years of experience. She has worked in institutional and individual fundraising at top arts institutions, including BRIC Arts Media, the PROTOTYPE Festival, Cal Performances at UC Berkeley, the MacDowell Colony, and the New York Philharmonic. Most recently at Oakwood Arts, Luchanskaya oversaw over $350,000 in annual fundraising and strategized innovating development approaches for long-term sustainability.

She has also worked as a grant maker at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. An erstwhile pianist, Katya holds a bachelor of arts in music and Russian studies from Bucknell University and a master of arts in music history from Hunter College, CUNY. She loves to explore the outdoors with her family and is thrilled to make her home in beautiful Vermont.

In making the announcement, Executive Director Hope Sullivan said, “We are thrilled to have Katya Luchanskaya join the team at Spruce Peak Arts as Director of Development.  Her strong nonprofit background and entrepreneurial approach will be essential to achieving our ambitious strategic goals in the years to come.”
