The Children's Museum Group has selected Missy DiNunno as Executive Director, and Arts Consulting Group (ACG) extends its congratulations on her leadership appointment. She will begin her tenure on July 15, 2024.
The Children’s Museum Group is a Connecticut-based non-profit educational organization which includes The Children’s Museum and The Children’s Museum Preschool, both located in West Hartford, CT, as well as Roaring Brook Nature Center, located in Canton, CT. We strive to inspire life-long learning among children and their caregivers by providing experiential learning programs covering STEAM, health, nature, and the environment.
Missy DiNunno joins Children's Museum Group following her tenure as Executive Director at Simsbury Performing Arts Center, Inc., in Simsbury, Connecticut. In this role, Missy provided vision, leadership, and comprehensive direction in executing the organization’s strategic plan and elevating all organizational initiatives. She was instrumental in creating an award winning venue brand (Best of Hartford 2021 – 2023) that promotes Simsbury Meadows as one of Southern New England’s largest, outdoor performance venues.
Previously, Missy was the Director of Operations at CAPA – Shubert Theatre, in New Haven, Connecticut, where she managed several key verticals, including facilities, production of key events, backstage production, theatre rentals, customer service, hiring, and community relations. Missy also acted as Associate Director of Operations for The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, Connecticut. Missy holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a Minor in Business from Marist College.
