Dat Ngo

Dat Ngo (he/him/his) has held arts education and community engagement leadership positions for over 20 years. An accomplished nonprofit educator, arts administrator, coach, and social justice advocate, Ngo has dedicated his career to leading and supporting equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging efforts within a wide variety of cultural organizations. His prolific work in the arts and culture sector has centered around program planning, strategic visioning, diversity training, executive coaching, and community engagement.

Previously, Ngo held various positions at Shakespeare Theatre Company, including the roles of Associate Director of Education and Associate Director of Engagement and Inclusion. During his 14 years of service at the theater, Ngo broadened and successfully executed a spectrum of impactful diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. He built structural frameworks that supported fair employee assessment and developed strategies that formed a diverse talent pipeline, with special attention to early career professionals of all backgrounds. Ngo led numerous professional development sessions and chaired the theatre’s first Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.
