Jason Najjoum is a nonprofit organizational leader and management consultant who has dedicated over 15 years to a career enabling organizations to achieve their visionary objectives - from programmatic excellence to financial sustainability and everything in between - through a deep-seated curiosity of people and systems, a strategic and emergent approach to revenue enhancement, financial acuity, and values-driven leadership. As a leader who feels called to serve organizations that are distinct in and crucial to their communities, he looks for opportunities to leverage his passion, wide-ranging acumen, and people-centric sensibilities to bring about transformational change at crucial junctures.

Most recently, Jason led Imagination Stage, an innovative and venerated arts education center, to a pathway toward sustainability through strategic alignment, keener business development practices, and an impact-driven campaign to enhance revenue. Over his tenure there, the percentage of young people who participated for free grew from 15% to 35% while the budget grew 40% from pre-pandemic levels to $7 million. Previously, he led Synetic Theater, a culturally-specific organization with an incredible track record of programmatic success, through a process of increasing reciprocity with all of its stakeholders, revenue-based budgeting, and technology-enabled process improvement, resulting in a more equitable, financially stable, and impactful organization. As one example of this impact, Synetic was honored by the Virginia School Board Association soon before he left for being the only arts vendor that maintained services to Fairfax County Public Schools (one of the nation’s largest school systems) during the pandemic.

Jason has been lucky to be part of the dynamic teams at Yale Repertory Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, ABC Television, and on Broadway. As a management consultant, Jason has advised leadership and completed special projects for Jewish Creativity International, the Ely Center for Contemporary Art, Yale Theater Management Knowledge Base, CueBox, and Prospect Theater Company, among others, on critical endeavors ranging from strategic planning, governance, workforce and organizational design, CRM and patron services, fundraising and branding strategy, financial management, and real estate.

His nonprofit experience is augmented by several transformative experiences in the private sector, including at McChrystal Group, a global organizational development firm, and at Bridgewater Associates, the world’s leading hedge fund. Jason earned a master of fine arts degree in Theater Management and an MBA from Yale University, was trained in equity, diversity, and inclusion principles and facilitation by artEquity, served his community on the National Landing Business Improvement District and Committee for Montgomery, and connects across sectors as a member of Leadership Greater Washington.
