An accomplished executive search practice specialist, Josyanne Roche brings a wealth of experience in organizational development and talent cultivation, recruitment, and successful placement. Roche has devoted her career to helping clients find exceptional leaders to meet their needs and in establishing strong, equitable, and diverse teams. Her areas of expertise include client engagement, project management, candidate development, and research spanning across higher education, nonprofit, arts and culture, healthcare, and government sectors.
Prior to joining ACG, Roche was Vice President and Senior Associate with Koya Partners, a Diversified Search Group company. She guided numerous executive search projects with tactful insight at each level of the process throughout the United States and internationally. She is driven to identify and connect clients with the right leaders, understanding the greater context, skills, and values of a candidate’s background and the team dynamic in which those leaders succeed.
Roche previously served as an Associate in the higher education, healthcare, and academic medicine practices at the international executive search and recruitment firm Odgers Berndtson. During her tenure, she excelled in candidate identification research, outreach, and screening, ensuring qualification match, cultural connection, and compatibility. Earlier in her career, Roche fulfilled the role of Manager of Search Support at a boutique higher education search firm, Brill Neumann, where she contributed to all aspects of search planning, administration, and logistics. She also previously worked in real estate and historic preservation, supporting various companies including NAI Hunneman, Building Conservation Associates, Inc., and Halstead Property, LLC.
Roche is an avid museum patron, most recently of the Ackland Art Museum at UNC and the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association network. A keen linguist, Roche speaks French, Haitian Creole, conversational Japanese, and is in the early stages of learning Korean. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in media arts from Long Island University, with a concentration in photography and audio engineering.
