Ms. Pantos joined ACG in 2014 after six years as executive director of Opera North (USA), where she revitalized the company, bringing it firmly into the black and setting a new standard for artistic excellence. This transformation included creating and executing a robust strategic plan, implementing cost saving web-based technology, designing a marketing plan that increased ticket sales annually by 15 percent, and establishing a development initiative that doubled the company’s contributed income in the past three years.

Ms. Pantos was named one of New Hampshire’s four Outstanding Women in Business for 2014 by New Hampshire Business Review Magazine. Prior to Opera North, Ms. Pantos was finance manager for Merger & Acquisitions (North America) at W.R. Grace, where she was selected from a national pool of candidates for the elite Financial Leadership Team. She developed modeling tools that projected cost and time-to-market for products in the R&D pipeline and the viability of acquisition targets.

“Today’s arts and culture leaders are unique ambassadors who command the business savvy to support their vision. Their success is built up on superior presentations and productions, surpluses, and sustainability. Engaging their communities in transformational experiences, those leaders inspire their stakeholders to endow future generations with the opportunity for creativity.”

An internationally acclaimed opera singer, Ms. Pantos has performed in many of the world’s most prestigious concert venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lyric Opera of Athens and State Theater of Munich. She has appeared as a soloist with the Covent Garden Orchestra and was under exclusive contract with Columbia Artists Management, recording on major labels the title roles in Carmen and The Return of Helena.

Fluent in five languages, Ms. Pantos completed a Masters of Business Administration at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, earned a Masters in Musicology from the University of Hamburg in Germany, and received a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College. She is also a Thomas J. Watson and Forté Scholar.
