Levitt Pavilion Denver has selected Meghan McNamara as Executive Director, following an executive search process led by Arts Consulting Group (ACG). She began her tenure on April 3, 2023.
McNamara is an accomplished executive with over 15 years of experience in arts management and nonprofit leadership. Prior to joining Levitt Pavilion Denver, she served as Vice President of Programming and Audience at the Joan W. and Irving B. Harris Theater, a 1,500-seat performing arts venue in Chicago, Illinois. McNamara advanced to this role from serving as Director of Marketing and Audience Development. During her 11 years at the organization, McNamara guided all marketing and public relations efforts, including devising brand and content strategies, managing a national public relations consulting team, and leading executive communications and partnerships. Guided by a keen understanding of the talent, infrastructure, and funding needed to execute each production, McNamara curated the Harris Theater Presents programming, balancing in-depth knowledge of each distinctive artistic product and its target audiences.
McNamara has previously held positions at Carolina Performing Arts, the official performing arts presenter of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Molo Songololo, a child rights organization with arts-based programming in Cape Town, South Africa. She holds a bachelor of arts in global studies from the University of North Carolina.
In making the announcement, Board Chair of Levitt Pavilion Denver María Corral said, “After an exhaustive search, we are thrilled to welcome Meghan McNamara to the Levitt Pavilion Denver family.
